Ingredients: Made of a substance called PTFE, which is a powdered form of Teflon in a liquid form.
Directions: Using the sponge applicator, wipe a layer of Fluon across any entry points in your Formicarium. The fluon will dry white so you can see if you’ve missed any spots.
Shelf Life: Store Fluon between 5-30 degrees Celsius, do not shake contents, rather gently roll container once a month to prevent clumping. Do not refrigerate or freeze

I’ve been using Fluon as an escape barrier for my ant setup and it works extremely well. Once applied properly and allowed to dry, it creates a very slippery surface that the ants simply can’t grip. It gives real peace of mind, especially when keeping more active or fast-moving species.
Application was straightforward — just a thin layer around the inside rim of the outworld. It dries fairly quickly and lasts a good amount of time before needing reapplication. I found that applying a light, even coat works best.
