Queen arrived with large larvae and pupa. She was quite stressed and ate 2 pupa so ensure you don't check on her for the first few days like I did!

I bought a Camponotus Queen Sugar Ant from Antastic and was delighted. The queen arrived healthy, active, and well-packaged with her brood. I had ant escapees - when setting my colony up……..I am sure it was the same one So I’ve named him Steve - as in Steve McQueen, (The Great Escape movie 😂)

Haven’t tried to move my Queen with them yet- but the tweezers are so light that I have confidence that they will do the trick!!!!

Really nice quality light covers and fit the test tubes properly. Keeps the queens dark and settled while still making it easy to check on them quickly. Simple but very useful for founding setups.

Simple but really useful little feeder tray for test tube setups. Makes feeding much cleaner and easier without disturbing the colony too much. Fits nicely and works exactly as expected.

I ordered this queen as part of a promotional offer and got it for free. The queen arrived healthy and with, about four workers. Over the past three months I have enjoyed watching these timid little soldiers, feed, forage and grow. I was also quite impressed with the size of the queen.

Good size, good quality. Sadly, when I brought this test tube, nuptial flight season in my area came to a close. so I haven't been able to use it properly yet. But it has taken its place as my best test tube. And I am excitedly awaiting for the nuptial flight season to begin so I can finally put it to use.

Great price, practical design. The tubing connector allowed me to connect my 3D Printed Mesh Nest to my 19x12x9 acrylic outworld with ease.

What can I say, I got what I ordered. I like the fact that in the sizing description it tells you that it. " Fits all Esthethic Ants 3D printed, Ytong formicariums and outworlds." This description made it easy for me to decide what tubing to buy to connect my 3D Printed Mesh Nest to my 19x12x9 acrylic outworld.

Myself, (and my ants) L-O-V-E these water feeders. I bought two of them to put in my 19x12x9 acrylic outworld for my black pavement ants. I put honey water in one, and regular water in the other. When I initially gave it to my ants, it took them about a week to get used to the change from drops of honey to the tower. With black pavement ants being a small species. I was worried that they would fall into and drown in the water of the tower. But that was not a problem at all. If you're unsure whether or not to buy a water feeder, I would 100% recommend buying one.

The nest housed my black pavement at colony well. until I fed them a dead cockroach and poisoned 20 of them (Rookie mistake). It connected to the tubing that I ordered well, no gaps, no escapees. It has easily accessible moisture control and is easy to clean, thanks to the handy screws. The red panel that I ordered with it fit well and I was able to see my ants clearly. Although, I was expecting it to have a more secure/tight fit to the top panel, rather than just sitting on top. Overall, it is a nifty, easy to attach and affordable set up for beginners.

fair price, well-made and very functional. I am currently housing a medium sized black pavement ant colony in here and they love it. One problem I had with my previous outworld was that the ants kept escaping through small cracks. However, I haven't had any problems with escapees in this outworld. the ports are very useful when paired with tubing. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I’ve been using Fluon as an escape barrier for my ant setup and it works extremely well. Once applied properly and allowed to dry, it creates a very slippery surface that the ants simply can’t grip. It gives real peace of mind, especially when keeping more active or fast-moving species.

Application was straightforward — just a thin layer around the inside rim of the outworld. It dries fairly quickly and lasts a good amount of time before needing reapplication. I found that applying a light, even coat works best.
