These gorgeous Pheidole ants feature incredible majors with huge heads, giving them their iconic name of the big-headed ants. They’re a great beginner ant since they’re small, require minimal care, and the queens are very easy to raise. Their numbers grow very quickly, and they usually have majors within the first few months of having workers.
