Green Headed ants can sting, however their inability to climb glass or plastic makes them easy to contain. Colonies can grow to a considerable size and reproduction is usually quite fast. Since you wont be touching the ants, their ability to sting shouldn’t be a concern to any beginner that wants a more interesting species.

beautiful queen, bought a couple green ant queens from. 5 stars would recommend if you want a unique ant colony.
