One of the many bull ant variants found across Australia, When kept in captivity, it is important to provide a naturalistic set-up. They require a form of substrate — typically red sand or dirt — in order for their larva to weave their cocoons, and we recommend they are provided with a lot of space to forage and a diverse diet. Raising a colony is a very long process that requires a great deal of care.
